Aspirin (at least 75mg day) gives longer survival, especially for Gleason score 8, 9 or 10. Higher doses more effective.

The daily Cartia aspirin tablet (enteric coated to protect your stomach lining) has 100mg of aspirin. Standard aspirin tablets have 300mg.

As aspirin thins the blood your doctor will have to take your overall medical condition and the other drugs you are taking into account.
