Patrick W
I'm currently 61 years old, over-weight, and with chronic pain and fatigue. In 2008 I was diagnosed with Gleason Score of 4+5=9, advanced aggressive prostate cancer with lymph node involvement. Since then I've been on LUCRIN PDS 3 monthly (intermittent ADT. In September 2012 COSUDEX was added to the treatment as Combined Androgen Blockade as my PSA had plateaued at about 0.6. I'm currently 67 years old, diagnosed in 2008 with Gleason 4+5=9, advanced prostate cancer. I had a open radical surgery (2008) chemotherapy (2014-15 and 2015), radiation (2016), stereotatic radiation (2018 - 1 x spinal lesion), and Zytiga (2016-2018). I've been on hormone therapy since 2008. I became castrate resistant in 2012. Currently my Gleason is 5+5=10. Metatases to lymph nodes and spine. I've failed Zytiga but am still on it as there is nothing else to go on. Initially the Zyiga did not work with prednisone so I was changed to dexamethsone, which worked. I'm now changed back to prednisone to see if I could be effeciveness from the Zytiga. I have applied to be on the Galahad Clinical Trial for Niraparib through Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
