tonymax Posted October 2, 2011 Share Posted October 2, 2011 In short: An injection of a newly developed substance, (fluorocholinefluoromethyl-dimethyl-2-hydroxyethylammonium, known affectionately to its friends as FCH) when combined with a PET scan and a CT scan, in a small study appears: not to be more effective in finding tumors in newly diagnosed men: to be effective in finding recurrent tumors after surgical radical prostatectomy.
