JimJimJimJim
In this weeks video, the first in a series on the topic of elderly men, Dr Snuffy Myers deals with prostate cancer in the over 80s. His approach is: do everything he can not to use hormone therapy; never use the triple hormone therapy in the elderly - a disaster he says; and if he must treat, use minimal Casodex + Avodart, or transdermal estradiol. He also tells that: he strongly disapproves with treatment with DES; falls are a major problem for men of this age; and he had a surprisingly small number of reported deaths among his patients in 2010.
