Please find below the details of a new study that is currently recruiting participants. Participation in this study is entirely voluntary.

The investigators are seeking partners of men diagnosed with prostate cancer. Please feel free to pass this invite along to your partner.

Study title

Exploring the experiences of partners of prostate cancer survivors and the role of information technology to support their needs.

Lead investigator

Dr Anna Green, University of Technology Sydney

Summary of project

Prostate cancer not only affects men but also partners. Partners often experience greater

levels of distress and anxiety than men with prostate cancer and many have unmet

needs.

We would like to hear about your experiences of caring for someone with prostate cancer

and identify strategies for meeting your needs. Feedback on a potential mobile app to

support partners will also be sought.

We are holding phone interviews and would love to hear from you. Phone interviews will last for approximately 1 hour.

The phone interviews are being held for research purposes, information collected will be of a general nature and will not personally identify participants in any way.

Ethics approval has been granted by the University of Technology Sydney Human Research Ethics Committee.
