Bruce Kynaston
As I said last Friday, it seemed reasonable to consider the mass of tumour in the prostate compared with that evident on scans elsewhere, and if the former was greater than the latter, then reduction in the tumour mass available to shed cells that could form new metastases and so bother the body in time. )or words to that effect.) Kezza2
This article just reinforces the need for regular screening for men from at least 50 if not before. That way their primary tumor can be detected and treated before it metastisises (if that is how you spell it) , you know, spreads to lymphs and bones etc. I think it is a sad situation where men are still being diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer when they first present to their doctor, compared to those of us who have traveled the path for many years before becoming metastatic.
