Senate Inquiry - first result - review of PBAC guidelines

The first result of the Senate Inquiry into the availability of new, innovative and specialist cancer drugs in Australia was the announcement by the Minister for Health, Sussan Ley, of a review of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) guidelines. The PBAC recommends to the Australian Government which drugs should be subsidised on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
