JimJimJimJim
Volunteer typing needed Secretary Nev is behind with our minutes of meetings. His two-finger typing has got him through in the past. But his currently-very-busy business life has tipped the balance. The job We give you a recording of the teleconference. You type it. Any unfamiliar term you type with brackets around it. Any unclear section you type empty brackets. You send it back to Nev who completes or corrects bits where necessary, and sends it to Jim to moderate and anonymise. More details The recording is an MP3 file. It can be downloaded to your computer and played back on your computer, or we can put it on a CD and send it to you. It is often unclear in parts, but we are working on improving that. The full meeting is up to 1 hour 25 minutes. Our members really appreciate reading what everyone says. More, an average of 500 other people who are not members read the minutes. Non-member readers have reached 1270 for a meeting. A volunteer who is a speedy typist who can do most meetings would be ideal. But this is not an ideal world, so we would be happy with any volunteers, even if you can commit to just one meeting.
