It is safe to give cabazitaxel after taxotere to men over 65 with metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer. 

After the chemotherapy Taxotere (docetaxel) fails, a second chemotherapy - Cabazitaxel - from the same family (taxanes) often gives results. Both are available in Australia on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
