In this video, Dr Myers tells that interval exercise is the best way to do this. Interval exercise is simply using shorter bursts of more intense exercise, separated by recovery time. Saves time, works well. It appeals to me, because I used interval training as part of my swimming just a few years ago when I was a teenager.
