Admin
Member Tony Brown sent me this link to a story on the BBC website about Curcumin (Turmeric) being added to chemotherapy for bowel cancer in a trial to see if this makes more of the drug available to fight the cancer, if it is safe to do this in humans, and if it has any beneficial effect: Turmeric added to chemotherapy for bowel cancer Problems can occur when piperine (black pepper extract) is added to curcumin (turmeric). I did give a warning of this in a teleconference, and in an email advice. However, revisiting an earlier post in using curcumin (turmeric) against prostate cancer, I saw that I had not given the warning on the website. I have now revised the topic to add that warning. See the amended topic (with the warning in green) here: http://advancedprostatecanceraustralia.ipbhost.com/index.php?/topic/366-curcumin-from-tumeric-a-longish-shot-dr-snuffy-myers-video/ or http://tinyurl.com/6ohztpf
