  1. In case you missed last night's Channel 9 news, there was an item about a new MRI technique which will improve diagnosis of prostate cancer, particularly in lymph nodes. The research is being conducted at Brisbane's Wesley Hospital. Click on this link to read about the new technique. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a scan used for a medical imaging procedure. An MRI uses a magnetic field and radio waves to take pictures of the body's interior.
